Lake Arrowhead is one of our favorite destinations for a long weekend and on Thursday we headed to the mountains for some family time. Leaving La Jolla Shores behind we headed up to an elevation of 5,200 feet and found snow still on the ground! After unpacking at the cabin we headed over to have an early dinner at the Boathouse in Lake Arrowhead Village. While taking a walk along the path by the lake the fog started rolling in and my children thought it made a great back drop for a night of scary movies at our lakeside retreat!
