Cary NC "Family" is a Relative Term During Christmas Cary NC Family is a relative term during Christmas. My husband and I have not lived in our hometowns since college. Holidays, especially Christmas were tough. Before children we traveled home to be with family. After the children were born we made a conscience decision to create our own Christmas traditions.
Just not the same without extended family.
