Kudos to APS The Associated Press reported in a story entitled Albuquerque Schools moving towards Techbooks that the Albuquerque Public School Board has approved an 11.3 million dollar contract Discovery Education.
I applaud this effort by APS to cut cost. After all, paper textbooks cost has been going through the roof. Let’s hope this will workout for all concerned. KUDOS APS

Trinidad Miners squeaked by Chargers in Non-Conference Action - 09/03/12 12:45 AM
Trinidad Miners squeaked by Albuquerque Academy  Chargers in Non-Conference Football Action
Academy Chargers was narrowly edged by the Miners of Trinidad, in their season opener, 26-24 on Friday, August 31, 2012.  Despite the loss, I still expect great things from the Chargers this year.
As the Football Program continues to grow at the Academy, I believe that there will be more interest from colleges like University of New Mexico.  Currently, Brandon Branch, former Chrager Superstar now plays for the Lobos.
Best wishes to Coach Kevin Carroll and the Chargers.  GO CHARGERS

Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico are among the most stable real estate markets in the United States. This has caught the attention of the national media. As such, it is incumbent on local Realtors to provide information about our cities for those interested in investing, relocating, or visiting. My goal with this blog is to highlight issues or topics in real estate, and where appropriate apply them to the local markets.
