about sanibel: Home deals in Sanibel near beach or waterfront - 06/20/09 09:39 PM
These 5 properties in Sanibel island stand out. A few are in the low to mid $400k up to one at 509 Lagoon at an asking price of $725,000. These Sanibel homes are either a walking distance to the beach or are on a lake or gulf access canal...and of course their asking price. 509 Lagoon is a short sale. Countrywide! $660K could do it. Gulf access canal. Good looking "modern" classical Florida island home. Ask me about what the deal is with this Lender and this home. Its positive. Lagoon home 753 Cardium. I picked first because of the price. $467,400.

about sanibel: A short tour of Sanibel and fantastic Real Estate opportunities - 06/06/09 08:54 PM
There are few islands in Florida which can compare to Sanibel. These of you who have visited the well known barrier island did not forget the 15 miles of pristine beaches, and among others these beauties: The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge J.N."Ding" Darling, and the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation SCCF Two third of this magnificent island is protected so its not a surprise that Sanibel’s residents do not want to embrace the XXIst century like other areas of South West Florida and run their own affairs as a separate identity and community. Don’t

Sanibel during a foggy day These days I have noticed a strong spike in the numbers of potential buyers looking towards Sanibel. The reasons are obvious There are homes under $500,000 and there is even one under $400,000 which is a foreclosure in Upper Captiva. Its not your regular home and if someone knows About this great Island, I would move rather fast. Sanibel is one of these islands that does not want to be

about sanibel: Sanibel "Ybel" and the Calusa Indians of SW Florida - 01/05/07 10:30 PM
Sanibel and Captiva Island is located North West of Fort Myers and boast some 17 miles of white sand. It is believed that over 5000 years ago they used to be only one island.Today you have to take a boat to reach North Captiva. Its rich history dates over 2500 years ago when the Calusa Indians dominated the region including Fort Myers Beach or Estero Island. The Calusa indians were ahead of their time and skilled craftsmen and builders of huts on top of mounds. Some of these mounds are still intact today. The Calusa Indians were forming a fascinating advanced society which depended mostly on shrimp,
