Yes, I was one of those men persuaded into watching some of the Miss Universe Pageant by his wife. I don't hate watching it (a lot of pretty ladies to watch, after all), but it's all a bit slow for me. I know that my wife likes the to see the swimsuits, the evening dresses, etc. She's really into clothes. I was, however, struck by Miss U.S.A. falling for the second year on her gown and I cannot help but thinking that this was a case of negative thinking.
