home staging in fresno ca: Good Decisions Sell Houses. Selling By Design-Staging, Fresno, CA - 01/14/12 10:12 PM
Can a home sell for $14,000 more than its first offer? It can, and has in Fresno CA, due to the wise decision of a smart real estate agent and the sellers. They chose to have Selling By Design-Staging stage their home which resulted in a quick and profitable sale. The home received a full price offer the day after it had been staged. Here is an excerpt from an email I received from the agent regarding the referral service, who recommended Selling By Design-Staging, and the subsequent staging and sale of the home. "My listing was not selling despite

home staging in fresno ca: Leave No Room Behind. (Or Unstaged) Selling By Design-Staging Fresno, CA - 12/09/11 03:40 PM
As a professional home stager, I visit the mls on a regular basis to see what's out there on the market. Many times the main living areas look nice and maybe even professionally done. Then the photo tour goes to the leftover rooms, the spare or the "no one knows what to do with" room. Here the visual impact falls apart. Some of these rooms are used as storage for mismatched furniture, or worse anything that the owners don't know where else to put. A room might be used a guest room, but the old bedding and again, the mismatched or

home staging in fresno ca: How To Avoid Seeing The Things That No One Should See. - 10/21/11 04:27 PM
In real estate staging, or home staging, we stagers see things we shouldn't see (and really don't want to see.) Real estate agents and prospective home buyers also see all kinds of things that they wish they hadn't. Since many, many a great blog has been shared about this on Active Rain, I will let you remember some of the humorous and sometimes horrible examples, so I won't go into detail. One thing a home owner should see before they agree to a price reduction (assuming that the home is fairly priced to begin with,) is a home staging professional. Actually

home staging in fresno ca: How Much Money Are You Willing To Throw Away On Your Home Sale? - 08/23/11 03:06 PM
Today's real estate market, like the overall ecomomy is suffering. Why then would home sellers and their agents willingly throw money away by leaving home staging out of their marketing strategy? Why not just take a ten to fifty thousand dollars and burn it in a bonfire? Sounds silly doesn't it? Why would anyone do that? They would not of course, but when a seller does a price reduction, maybe two or three, it is money lost. Assuming that the house has been fairly priced when put on the market it should sell,(allowing for the economic downturn) at around the same price and

home staging in fresno ca: A Tale Of Two Houses. Which Sold? Vacant Vs. Staged. You Decide. - 02/11/11 04:49 PM
Selling By Design-Staging presents an exciting testament to the value of home staging in the Tale Of Two Houses. The homes have very similar floor plans, are on the same street in an upscale gated community and were built by the same builder. House number one has more square footage, one more bedroom and one more garage than does house number two. Both homes have lovely swimming pools, so welcome during Fresno, CA's hot summers. House number one's price is significantly lower than house number two. One of these spacious homes sold rather quickly, while the other is still languishing on
