Go Keller Williams!  It doesn't get any better than this!  reTrends released the results of an online survey taken on December 3rd to determine the "Most Recognizable Franchise Brand in Real Estate."  According to RealSure the originators of the survey, Keller Williams Realty ranked one number!  The results are as follows:

Now I've heard everything!  An article from the Wall Street Journal tells the tale of financial services firm, Morgan Stanley who turned over five San Francisco office buildings back to the lender(s) because right now the buildings are worth only half of what they paid for them over two years ago!  So, rather than fulfilling their OBLICATIONS to pay back the loans, they opted to give the properties back!  The article also went on to talk about the growning number of residential owners who are doing the same thing--not because they can no longer afford the payment and have exhausted modifications … (0 comments)

Indian Prairie School District 204 Summery of December 8, 2009 Board Meeting - 12/07/09 09:00 PM
At Monday night's board of education meeting we discussed the current economy's impact on our district. The $13 billion deficit in Illinois ranks our state third in the nation, behind California and Michigan, in financial troubles. Decreased state funds, combined with the slow down in local tax revenue, created a projected $9.2 million deficit for our district for 2011.
With the goal of achieving a balanced budget for 2011, we asked for input on ways to reduce our deficit. We asked building administrators and also looked to our community. Our Citizens Financial Advisory Committee reviewed nearly 200 suggestions from the community … (0 comments)
