Denver Prop 8 Rally "Banning Same Sex Marriage is Totally Gay" Equal Rights for All - 11/17/08 12:56 PM
On Saturday Denver held it's Protest Rally at the City and County Building in Denver's Golden Triangle. I walked down there with my dog to support all of my GLBT Friends and associates. There was an estimated crowd of about 500 with 4 people for Prop 8 and the rest against prop 8. I didn't see any of the hateful Religious Fanatics, but I'm sure they were there somewhere (they always are). It was a very peaceful rally that ended with a march downtown and on the 16th street mall.

Friday Night was the Kick off Signature Event for Denver's Arts Week, Night of The Museums. We started off and stayed in The Golden Triangle Denver's Art & Museum District. We entered the Denver Art Museum in the Hamilton Building designed by Daniel Liebskind and went Over to The Geo Ponti designed building to see the Sculpture Exhibit "Houdon from the Louvre" more than 20 sculptures portraying intellectual and political leaders including Voltaire, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Downtown Denver's Hottest Old-New Neighborhood LoHi - 11/12/08 04:10 PM
Denver's Trendy Lower Highlands, also called LoHi is located adjacent to Riverfront Park on the West Side of I-25. It is close enough to Downtown and LoDo with only a short jaunt across the walking bridge on 16th street and Commons Park. LoHi is full of life, you can lose a Sunday afternoon at LoLa's sipping Cocktails listening to Jazz and eating Tacos overlooking the skyline.
