longfellow neighborhood: Minneapolis Longfellow Gardens - 05/31/07 10:14 PM

Being a REALTOR who blogs somehow seems to force me out of my shell. I've started to carry my camera with me everywhere so I can make a point to grab pictures of the amenities of my neighborhood in Minneapolis. I love the Longfellow Nokomis area. There's SO much to write about!

longfellow neighborhood: Arsenic found in Minneapolis Yards - 10/09/06 10:38 AM

While I know I risk duplication of content dings. This is too important to not share.
700 homes near Hiawatha Avenue and East 28th Street in the Phillips and Longfellow neighborhoods have been found to contain arsenic. Insight News reported on this just this morning. The EPA is cleaning up yards with "acute" amouts of arsenic which they define as greater than 95 parts per million (95 ppm). This, so far, has amounted to 200 homes.
