solar: Green Energy Tax Credits for Log Homes - NEW Energy Act - 10/26/08 11:57 AM

Up until October 3rd., the tax incentives for homeowners to utilize solar or wind energy were minimal. A maximum Federal tax credit for homeowners was only $2,000 for photovoltaic systems, wind or solar water heating systems in any tax year. Congress just passed a substantial tax incentive for homeowners to encourage conversion of their log homes or cabins to solar or wind energy.
