Read his website - 08/28/08 11:11 AM
After reading Barack Obamas entire website, I now know for sure that I cannot afford him. He will be a very expensive President. According to the "issues" segment of his site, he will do something for just about everyone in the country. He will set up a program for every imaginable type of problem that exists today. He will make sure that every group is covered for whatever catastrophe may come their way. He will even give money to many. Lots of tax credits and funds will be set up. He will right every wrong that can be dreamed up. He … (6 comments)

Union rules - 08/27/08 10:50 AM
The president of a big powerful union was at a conference in Las Vegas. He inquired with the concierge at his posh hotel about a local whorehouse. He was given directions to the nearest one.
When he arrived at the place, the madam paraded all of the ladies in front of him. All of them were very pretty and fairly young. He selected one of them.  As he and his escort were making their way down the hall, a voice rang out. Wait. Hold on! Come back.

Over the years I … (22 comments)

The fine print at the bottom of the story reports that the medal winner attended college in the USA. The big medal winner not only attended college in the USA, but also participated in NCAA sports. Of course the medal winner was coached by an American coach. How nice.
Lets cut to the chase. A foreign athlete with potential … (4 comments)

Freedom of expression - 08/06/08 09:58 AM
Just got back from vacation. I had all these blog ideas planned for my first day back on AR- how great my vacation was, the whole unrelenting Pelosi thing, Hugh dropping off AR, etc.- but today one story in the news caught my eye. Here goes.
My family and I are big Olympic supporters. We have attended a few and we have sent the US Team some big bucks. We are idealists to the bone as far as the Olympics go. When Beijing was picked to host the 2008 Summer Games, we felt it was a mistake. A lot of people … (13 comments)
