Take Your Shoes Off In Bad Weather? We've all been to listings where the homeowner requests "shoes off". Okay, we can somewhat understand living here on The North Shore of Long Island, although if we were selling our home, we wouldn't want anyone's dirty feet walking on our clean floors (even those booties tend to sweat). We must say that we've seen buyers take off their shoes and get hurt by small toys lying around, cold basements that buyers didn't go down to, someone who slipped while walking with those plastic booties, and what dogs have left around...well we won't go there!
