Zip Lining at Spring Mountain Ski Area, Spring Mount, PA - 08/25/10 10:53 AM
As summer winds down, there is still a lot of fun things to do in Montgomery County, PA.  A great place for the adventurous of spirit is zip lining at Spring Mountain Ski Area in Spring Mount, PA. 
Spring Mountain has created a canopy tour called the Full Monty that runs through the woods.  You take a chair lift to the top of the mountain and then zip line from platform to platform with each zip getting longer and faster.  You also must cross several challenging rope bridges (think Survivor) and perform two rappels.  The entire course takes a few hours and … (0 comments)

Towamencin Township U&O's - Sellers Beware - Lansdale, PA - 08/15/10 10:00 AM

If you live in Towamencin Township, PA and plan to sell your house, be prepared for the Use & Occupancy inspection that is required by the township.
We personally live in Towamencin Township and have sold many homes here over our years in real estate.  The U&O inspection by the township has always been strict and required sellers to make many changes (i.e. installation of GFCI outlets, smoke detectors, handrails, re-routing of sump pump discharges, inspections and certifications of chimney flues, egress from finished basements, etc).

Everything you can think of:  tomatoes, grape tomatoes, zucchini, squash, eggplant, hot peppers, sweet peppers and more!  Plus they have fresh corn, watermelon, and cantelopes available for picking.
Our recommendation (as true fans of this area of Bucks County, Pennsylvania):
Head to Peace Valley Park, home of the beautiful Lake Galena, for boating, fishing, biking, or hiking - whatever your fancy.  There is so much to do there!  Spend a few hours or most of the day.

We seem to be hearing it a lot from sellers these days...
"But I've done so much work to this house..." 
This is usually in response to our estimate of the probable selling price of the home as sellers try to convince us to list their home at a higher price.  But sometimes as sellers are proclaiming the level of blood, sweat and tears poured into their homes, we can't help but look around and think, "Really?"
