Tomorrow is opening day with the Philadelphia Phillies sporting one of the BEST pitching lineups in major league baseball EVER with Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, Cole Hamels and the return of Cliff Lee.

Home Technology Trends: Heat Pump Water Heaters
The technology of a heat pump which has traditionally been used for HVAC units is now being applied to hot water heaters. These high efficiency units were introduced to the market in late 2009 and throughout 2010; they are estimated to use only 1/2 the electricity of standard electric hot water heaters.
The unit draws heat from the surrounding ambient air and transfers it to heat the hot water. Subsequently, colder air is transferred back into the room. Therefore, a warm room (such as where the furnace is located) is an ideal place to … (3 comments)

Built in the early 1700's on land deeded by William Penn, The Morgan Log House was home to Edward and Elizabeth Morgan. The Morgan Family was identified as being among the earliest Welsh settlers in the Lansdale/Towamencin area and the first settlers of the land the house currently sits on. Among the descendants of the Morgans are the frontiersman Daniel Boone, the Revolutionary War Brigadier General, Daniel Morgan, journalist/broadcaster Lowell Thomas, and mutual fund industry pioneer, Walter L. Morgan. The Morgan Log House is run by the Welsh Valley Preservation Society.

The saga of short sales. We saw two sales close last week but with very different outcomes. It really makes me wonder about banks and short sales, where's the logic?

Villanova University Temple University LaSalle University St. Joseph's University University of Pennsylvania And of course we always root for Drexel University (Scott's alma mater).

Fallingwater is Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous architectural masterpiece. In the 1930's, Wright was commissioned to design a summer home for the Kaufmann Family of Pittsburgh, PA.
Edgar and Liliane Kaufmann were the owners of Kaufmann's department store, the preminent department store in the Pittsburgh area (Kaufmann's eventually merged with Filene's and was eventually purchased by Macy's).
