Or the mobile mall as Father Dan calls it. A group of volunteers from our church collect, sort and distribute household goods, clothing and necessities for the poor around Sacramento. There is a large storage room always open for your drop-offs. I just left the Church and dropped off 3 large bags of clothes I purchased last year for the holiday. I am always giving clothes in general, but last year I happened upon the deal of deals at Sears in Arden Mall. I am Thankful for our National Parks!
Visit your local parks, and natural wonders. I always amazed at how many Sacramento/California natives have not been to Yosemite. It is the most awesome place in the United States. You hear people talk about their travels all over the world and yet they don't go to our own State's parks. Yosemite Valley is a short 3 hour drive from Sacramento. Go, you won't be disappointed and you will go again and again. The beauty is indescribable.
