The $8,000 stimulus credit for first-time home buyers alone is NOT reason enough to purchase a home.
It IS a good time to consider purchasing a home if
Your job is secure You can pay equal or less for your mortgage payment than your current rental payment Please don't forget that you have to factor in homeowner's insurance and property taxes.
The rest is really a no-brainer.
Homes are very affordable NOW. FHA interest rates are between 4.75 and 5% today. Stimulus package was extended for first-time home … (2 comments)
