What has become a yearly tradition is almost upon us. Fiendish ghouls are brought to life by the Franklin High School Drama Club at the Williamson County Recreation Center every year during the "Haunted Trails of Horror". Come out and enjoy the "spooktacular" hayride fun near the Harpeth River. Taking place this year on Wed, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, from 6:30 to 9:00, this fun filled event should not be missed. Take a Walking Tour of Franklin, TN. There are guided tours featuring History, Civil War, Cemetery Tour, Children's Tours, and even a ghost tour, and crime tours! Put on some comfortable walking shoes and enjoy Franklin in Foot. You will also be able to enjoy so many of the quaint shops Franklin has to offer. Hike, Bike or Bring your Own Horse! Bowie (pronounced boo-ee) Nature Park is a nice place to go hiking, or bring your bike. If you have a horse, you can trailer in for some trails as well. Located at 7211 Bowie Lake Road in Fairview, Tennessee, Bowie Nature Park offers 700 acres of forest, lakes and trails.
