Hello all,

Well, I have never had a blog before, so I guess we will see how this goes. I can't imagine that anyone would be interested in what I have to say, but we will see.

I have recently joined forces with another lady in our office (Julie) because we decided that we could be more effective with each of us supporting each others work efforts. One of us is always available.  When either of us gets really busy, the other steps in and helps where needed and soon the work is done. We have found that we work really well together.

Times are a little tough right now with the economy the way it is, but there is still life out there. We just have to work a little harder to find it.  For example, after working all week, we spent Saturday at a land auction, then went to check out a possible new listing lead (no one home). We then went to talk with a lady who had told us to come back after the holiday (she decided not to sell). Oh well.  All is well. We did end up with a new listing and a new  sale over the last couple of days.

We are also working on building up a new housing addition. It is called Collonade At the Oaks and is located just west of 149th and Peebly Road. It's a pretty addition with new homes on small acreages (1-2 acres)with paved roads, underground utilities...and best of all.... TREES. The developer wants to leave the trees and flora to give it a natural atmosphere. It will be a beautiful addition. So, if you know of someone who wants to build a home in this area, call me and we'll get them started.

And if you know a builder that wants to build a few spec homes, CALL ME! It is difficult to find a builder to invest in spec homes right now, but Julie and I believe in this addition and are determined to make it a success!
