If you are buyer, you are probably intrigued with purchasing a foreclosure/bank owned property. I think I've seen all the bank owned properties in Taunton this week!
First time homebuyers who use FHA loans must be advised that FHA has strict guidelines on the homes condition. Many homes in the $100,000 dollar range-$190,000 urban Taunton- Need substantial work.
There are still some good ones out there. I know which ones you should stay away from if you'll be using an FHA loan.

Case in Point:
Buyer agrees to buy the (non bank owned/not a short sale) property “as is, where is”, heat works, plumbing is okay, home inspection is satisfactory. .. then.. without warning.. the bank wants the property inspected by a third party.

What a week! This week, I am wondering.. what buyers market???
I had 3 offers on one of property listings last week. One of them was accepted, the other offers were too low.
This week I received over 50 calls on one of my other listings. Open house will be Sunday. I know we will also have multiple offers. The attraction to the listing is that it short sale, nice home and is priced below appraised value. I know it will sell over the asking price.
