A 5:30 AM Phone Call Rarely Brings Good News.
A few months ago, we experienced severe weather here in the Dallas area. When my phone rang at 5:30 in the morning, I didn't know what to expect. One of the good things about having your sign in the yard of a home listed for sale is that the neighbors know how to get in touch with you.  And that's what happened.

The next door neighbor to one of my vacant listings called to let me know that one of the trees in the front yard had fallen during the night. … (1 comments)

Dine Out At The Food Trucks in Addison's Vitruvian Park!
Grab a blanket or lawn chair, pack your frisbee or soccer ball, put your wallet in your pocket, bring your appetite and head over to Vitruvian Park in Addison. Every Thursday night this May, Vitruvian Park's bridge is the place to be. There are food trucks selling a variety of delicious meals from 5:00 pm until they sell out.
There was a good size crowd this evening. Several employees of the Town of Addison were dining out and I saw a few Addison real estate agents there, too. Tom Lamberth, the … (3 comments)

Think YOUR Family is Dysfunctional? Watch This One at Addison's WaterTower Theatre - 04/13/12 07:20 AM

The acting is superb. Pam Dougherty as Violet Weston, the pill popping matriarch of the family, and Sherry Jo Ward as the eldest daughter, are supported by a fabulous cast so large that the Playbill contains a family tree. Without giving too much away, the production begins with Beverly Weston, the patriarch, played by Cliff Stephens, hiring a Native American woman, … (0 comments)

Ah, Addison! Not a city, but a "town." The Town of Addison. The best place to live and work in North Texas. There's something to be said about a place that doesn't take itself too seriously. Note the exclamation point in the town's name. Here you'll find the ruminations, rants and raves of one of the town's realtors and residents.
