Single family homes are selling well in Addison. Although down in dollar volume from a year ago, the median sales price is up.
There are very few Addison homes in the under $150,000 range (with the exception of condos, and they are not included in the information below).
Last year's tax credit skewed that data up to this point, but we are beginning to see a truer picture. Positive influencers for this year's numbers include the low, low, low interest rates, local jobs creation, and a healthy regional economy. Negatives include high … (4 comments)

There are currently 5 homes on the market in Towne Lake, priced from a low of $279,900 to a high of $337,000. There have been 2 sales in the neighborhood since January 1st, with $148.15 being the average price per sq. ft. (up from the average sales price of $136.82 six months ago). Homes sold from a low of $280,000 to a high of $320,000. The highest sale was at $152.67/sq ft (up from $150.62 in the previous 6 month period).
