dallas county: Antiques Roadshow coming to Dallas THIS Weekend - 06/26/08 08:01 PM
Active Rain isn't the only AR around. Antiques Roadshow, the popular series on PBS, is taping in Dallas this weekend for their upcoming season. The show was last here 10 years ago.
It's too late to get tickets now, however. If you wanted to get in, you should have applied online before April 20th or sent a postcard by April 5th. From the thousands of requests submitted, 6,800 names were drawn at random and these folks were sent tickets.

If it's a half duplex you're after, here's what's available in Addison, Texas.
The Midway Meadows subdivision is the only part of Addison with duplex homes. There are also zero lot (garden) homes in the subdivison. The Pecan Square condos are nearby, but not part of the subdivision.

We did it! We met face to face tonight at the Blue Mesa Grill in Addison, TX. And what a group we had! A host of stagers, agents, some loan officers, a photographer, a title company attorney, and some technological folks who work with real estate agents. I think there was someone in our group who sells electricty, too.

It happens twice a year - the first Saturday in May and the first Saturday in October: The Addison Community Garage Sale! Shoppers come from far and wide for this semi-annual event.
Any resident of the town can reserve one "booth" per Addison address under the tent in the Sam's Club parking lot by submitting $20 and proof of residency (water bill, tax notice, lease agreement, drivers license) to the Town of Addison Environmental Services Department. You get a table and 2 chairs, but you can bring more tables, clothes racks, display stands, saw horses and planks, you name it.
