Living in the heart of a city like San Francisco brings all sorts of new experiences. One for me is learning to embrace billboards. Yes, billboards. Now, if I had my druthers, I'd have the billboard taken down from the building next door, but since I don't I decided to enjoy it. The message changes every month or two; some appeal to me more than others; none take away my enjoyment of the view beyond. It's fascinating watching a new sign go up, wondering what will appear. Long gone are the days when strips of a message would go up wallpaper … (10 comments)

Thankful Thursdays--It's the little things
So much to be thankful for:
my nightly 'calm down' ritual of herbal tea and a few minutes with a great book my condo in the City-already home after 3 short weeks and the view to which I wake in the morning!
