Tennis Anyone? One of the delights for most San Franciscans, myself included, are the many neighborhood parks. Scattered throughout the city, they come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny knoll-top areas, to sprawling parklands like Golden Gate Park and The Presidio, both of which encompass many, many arces of land.

Many of the parks have found space for tennis courts, like these Alice Marble Tennis Courts at Sterling Park on Russian Hill. At the top of this modest-size neighborhood park you'll find 4 tennis courts, plus a basketball court with a backboard handy for practicing tennis solo.
