walking in pacific heights: Bookending this January day in San Francisco - 01/03/20 07:27 PM
Today is the first Friday of 2020, the second day of the abbreviated work week. So just how does a San Francisco Realtor® spend this day to kick start a great year? Often the answer is "a little of this, a little of that."
Some of my highlights today:
The morning started early, with my husband driving me pre-dawn to Glide where I served breakfast to roughly 600 hungry and many homeless neighbors. walking in pacific heights: Day 3, thankful for......foggy SF days - 11/16/16 12:47 PM
San Francisco has many micro climates, and Pacific Heights is one usually free from the swirling fog that often shrouds the Golden Gate bridge and envelopes the streets  in the more western parts of the City.
Not so a few mornings ago when I walked along Jackson Street.  It was still heavy an hour later on my way back. The fog didn't stop the wild parrots from squawking and flitting about, nor the walkers, joggers, and dogs from frolicking.

walking in pacific heights: Creativity and Perseverance - 01/05/13 01:58 AM

That might be someone's whimsical garden wall, or an especially unique shop window. It can be the costumes outfits I spy on some of the people sitting at outdoor tables.
On two recent strolls through the beautiful Pacific Heights neighborhood, I spotted these:
Creativity
Perseverance
I'm off for another walk this morning -- what will today's lesson be, I wonder?

But with the stars twinkling, the air fresh and hills beckoning, why stay indoors? San Francisco is a great place for walking, especially in my area in the north end of town--hills for exercise and tremendous views; friendly neighborhoods like upper Polk and the Fillmore; beautiful homes, both large and small. Neighbors are out walking, too, those with dogs and others returning home … (12 comments)
