Each of Zillow, HomeGain and Trulia came out with their respective Home values reports. In them there is a view of the future that indicates that perhaps home values are indeed stabilizing. Here is a synopsis of the reports: Zillow The Zillow Report from December 9 focused on the cumulative sale value lost on homes in the first 11 months of 2009. Last week HomeGain released nationwide, regional and state survey data on our members views on home prices and the Obama stimulus plan. You can review the national and state data at the links above. Today we released data that shows that while the housing market is poor nationwide, many Realtors in certain states are not expecting futher price declines. More than two thirds of California and New York Realtors, however, are expecting futher price declines. Tomorrow, HomeGain will announce that the Washington Post has selected Homegain to provide it with instant home values functionality for washingtonpost.com. HomeGain, the company that brought the first web based instant home valuation tool to the Internet back in 1999 is estactic to have been selected.
