In this very technical savvy world, sometimes we spend so much time just trying to get on all the various websites, post our listings, blog, reach out in the computer world that we forget the good old basics.  Don't get me wrong.  I am right out there with the next agent, on all the websites, posting and blogging, marketing my listings on the internet. I recently sold a home in a great neighborhood, a move-in condition home on a pretty large property.  The house sold for $630,000 and I thought we were close to market value.  There were not really any homes like this that had sold recently ( especially in this area) so I really didn't have any comps for this exact house but based on the size of the property and the area and the condition of the house I thought we were close.  Well, was I in for a surprise when the appraiser came in with an appraised price of $565,000.  The … (0 comments)
