If you have not been to Blackbeard's Cove, situated on Hwy 17N at Mount Pleasant, you are missing a treat. It does exactly what it says on the sign, "Family Fun". Although spending time there during Spring, Summer or Autumn is fun. Blackbeard's Cove bring an additional twist to Winter with there Winter Wonderland dates. You can play or go sledding in the snow. Yes. If the driver has a driver's license, proof of insurance on the golf cart and has obtained a $5.00 dollar permit from the Department of Motor Vehicles. We have had several daytime burglaries recently where witnesses have seen the suspect. Their descriptions of the suspect match that given by another witness in Charleston city for one of CPD's burglary cases. We are looking for a Hispanic male, 25-35 years old, over six feet tall, and approximately 200 lbs. The suspect's vehicle is very distinctive. He is driving an older model, white van with multiple blue stripes running lengthwise down the body. On witness said there was a ladder on the back and some type of roof rack. The figures below are for Mount Pleasant (MLS Areas 41 & 42) for Single Family Homes. They show the volume of transactions for year 2002, 2004 and 2008 To understand what the tables show, firstly, in general terms, area 42 is a more established area with the majority of new housing being built in area 41 not that these figures are seperate between the two areas. For instance, there are more active properties in May 2008 than in 2002 or 2004. This is partly because there of the areas development.
