Celebrate!
After pulling the recent Market Update from MAAR (Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors), I have great news (for sellers anyway).
Home prices are going up in the Twin Cities Area, and specifically in Wright County.
Comparing May 2011 to May 2012, Wright County has seen an 13.2% increase in average sale price.
The year to date for 2011 to 2012 is a 2.5% increase in average sale price.
Inventory continues to be low, so when properties are priced right, they are selling quickly.

I recently posted a blog about how wild our market has gotten recently, and that only proved to be true again this weekend!
I showed property Fri/Sat/Sun and last night I was in my office until 9:30 writing a purchase agreement with some buyers.
Why so late? They knew if they didn't write ASAP, another buyer would get it!
Buyers need agents who can get info and show them homes quickly if they want a fighting chance!
It is a much healthier market than a year or two ago when buyers could wait around for sellers to drop their price.
