New statistics from the Census Bureau on household income in America in 2006 show Plano at the top with the highest median household income for a city with more than 250,000 people. CNNMoney.com reports the average Plano household makes $77,038 a year. That's ahead of San Jose ($73,804) and San Francisco ($65,497), and well (4 comments)

The Medical Center of Plano received Level III Trauma Center Designation from the Texas Department of State Health Services last week. The hospital was required to operate for a year as a trauma center and then go through a two day review process before receiving the designation. There are no other hospitals (2 comments)

Mosquito Attack!! Not quite, but that is what it feels like every year. The City of Plano has recently confirmed that several mosquitos in the zip code 75075 have tested postive for West Nile Virus. The city will be spraying in the area but you need to be careful no matter (6 comments)

Well, it happened today. Former Cowboys wide receiver, Michael Irvin, is in the Football Hall of Fame. Michael, "The Playmaker", as he was well known in Dallas was a great player. The Historic Downtown Plano Association presents an exciting monthly event -- Downtown @ Sundown! The first event will be Saturday, August 11 and each second Saturday through November from 5PM -10PM.
