dallas cowboys: Is McFadden worth it?? - 01/29/08 05:23 PM
The latest rumor is that the Dallas Cowboys will trade Marion Barber, our first round pick and second round pick to the Miami Dolphins so we can get Arkansas' Darren McFadden. What?? Why would we give up a Pro Bowler in Barber? Besides the fact that Jerry Jones is obsessed with his alma mater. I think McFadden is a good player but I don't think it is a good move for Dallas. I wasn't impressed with McFadden during the Cotton Bowl when I saw him. And he is injury prone. There is no guarantee he will be a star. And if

dallas cowboys: Campo back in Dallas - 01/29/08 05:06 PM
Former head coach, Dave Campo, is now back in Dallas as the Cowboys new secondary coach. Campo was the assistant head coach for Jacksonville. Jacksonville initially declined to grant the Cowboys access to Campo. But Campo told the Jaguars that he wanted to live in the Dallas area because his daughters live here. Campo was a coach with the Cowboys from 1989 to 2002, first as the secondary coach (1989-94) to defensive coordinator (1995-1999) and finally to head coach in 2000. He was a part of the three Super Bowl champions in Dallas, two as secondary coach and one as defensive

dallas cowboys: Jason Garrett to stay in Dallas!! - 01/17/08 12:56 PM
The Dallas media is reporting that Jason Garrett is staying in Dallas as the offensive coordinator after interviewing with the Falcons and Ravens. The Ravens reportedly offered him the head coaching job. As a Cowboy fan, I think this is great but I'm surprised. Doesn't Garrett want to become a head coach? And is Jerry Jones, really going to pay him over $3 million just to be the offensive coordinator? Jerry has lead Garrett to believe that if he stays in Dallas, he will be the next head coach. But when will this be? Right now, Jones is sticking with

dallas cowboys: Preview of the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium - 12/07/07 11:54 AM
I thought all the sports fans out there might be interested in the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington, TX. My family has had season tickets since the Cowboys were at the Cotton Bowl and we had our appointment last Friday with the Dallas Cowboys to pick our seats at the new stadium in Arlington. We drove to the new stadium location and visited their preview center with our sales counselor. Here is the stadium currently under construction. The stadium is really big! It won't be ready until the Fall of 2009. If you live in Dallas, you have probably heard

dallas cowboys: I Love Nick Folk & The Cowboys! - 10/08/07 11:08 PM
What an unbelievable Cowboys Game!! My heart is still pounding. The Cowboys were terrible tonight but they still managed to win. 5 interceptions for Romo. Buffalo kickoff return for a TD. Cowboys missed a 2 point conversion for a tie. On-side kick recovered by Cowboys. And Nick Folk had to make a 53 yard field goal for the win in the last 2 seconds and he had to do it twice because Buffalo called a timeout just as Folk kicked the first field goal so he had to do it again. Next week is the battle of the unbeatens. Patriots and Cowboys.

dallas cowboys: Irvin is a Football Hall of Famer - 08/04/07 11:28 PM
Well, it happened today. Former Cowboys wide receiver, Michael Irvin, is in the Football Hall of Fame. Michael, "The Playmaker", as he was well known in Dallas was a great player. But his off the field problems, cast a shadow over his accomplishments as a player. As a Cowboys season ticket holder, I loved to cheer Irvin on but towards the end of his career I got tired of all his problems (with drugs, women, etc...) But I think the voters did the right thing by putting him in the Hall. He deserved it. He was a five-time pro-bowl selection that helped
