Today I was very fortunate to spend an hour on an online conference call with Richard Mendenhall, National Association of Realtors 2001 President. I can honestly say, it was one of the best calls I have been on in a while. Richard is a very inspirational and motivational man, but yet very honest and forth right about the roles of leadership. One of the the things that Richard said today that really stuck with me was "No matter how big the footsteps that you follow, always blaze your own trail." Have you ever had one of those days when you thought there was just to much to do, and you had no idea how you were going to get it all done? I seem to be having alot of those days lately, and what I finding out is the more I do- the more I have to do. That is all I have to talk about today- no good words of advise on how to make it better- no solutions to the problem- it just makes me feel better to write it down. Fun for the whole family awaits at you at the Arkansas Alligator Farm. This attraction was started in 1902 when a need for additional attractions and entertainment was needed for the influx of visitors to Hot Springs. A day at the Zoo consists of feeding many different types of animals in the pet zoo area, and pet one of the 200 Alligators that call this farm "home"! With the sun beating down in our beautiful city, it is nice to stop in and cool down with some Italian Ice Cream at Dolce Gelato. This small taste of Italy is owned and operated by some of the nicest people, and they always welcome you with a nice smile. They have many of the standard flavors including Chocolate, Stracciatella (Vanilla with Chocolate), Strawberry, and Hazelnut. You will love the beauty of the city from a top this glorious 216-foot structure located on Hot Springs Mountain in the National Park. The current tower opened to the public in 1983. The views encompass the Ouachita Mountains and surrounding Diamond Lakes area. It is a perfect way to take in sights of Hot Springs National Park. Hot Springs Mountain Tower is located atop Hot Springs Mountain in the National Park.
To reach the Tower, turn off Central Avenue (State Highway 7) in Downtown Hot Springs onto Fountain Street and follow the signs to the Tower. Hours of Operation: (2 comments)

GALLERY WALK.... Take a stroll down famous Bath House Row and while you are at it you can enjoy the famous Hot Springs Gallery Walk that takes place the first Friday of every month. You will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the finest contemporary art in America. A large array of art and beauty is displayed and the galleries stay open until 9 p.m., often with music and complimentary refreshments.
