Active Rain Blog Design: How do you personalize your blog?

Hi Rainers,

I'm hoping to get some help, tips, and advice on how to add a personal touch to my blog. I see some of you have your personal logos, pictures, company info, etc. but I can't figure out how to do that. Can you help? I'm also new to blogging in general so some blogging tips would be helpful as well. Thanks so much and I look forward to reading your comments.
