The Town of Ramapo in Rockland County NY, will once again be sponsoring their Thanksgiving Night Live TV Bingo. The 10th annual Thanksgiving Bingo event will take place from 8:00PM - 10:30PM on Thursday, November 25, 2010. The Jewish War Veterans together with the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County, NY is sponsoring their annual event - a concert to Salute Our Veterans. The Jazz Knights from the U.S. Military Academy Band of West Point will be performing. The concert is FREE and is scheduled to take place:

Now, in its 19th year, it's become the largest running event in Rockland County, NY and attracts people from all over the NY metro area as well as Rockland. Speechless Sunday - Fall's Bounty This past week-end we were gifted with the most glorious balmy, springlike weather. I was out and about with my camera and managed to get some photos of some beautiful bursts of color that the previous week's wind and rain hadn't effected. Don't you wish it could last longer (except of coarse for all the fallen leaves left for us to rake)!
Yesterday our Office sponsored a Gold Party - a fantastic fund raiser benefiting "People to People" of Rockalnd County! It's the only fundraiser I know of where you leave your wallet at home and walk out with money in your pocket and it 's a win-win for everyone involved. It's a fundraiser where everyone makes money. People to People, Rockland's largest food pantry, is an organization helping residents in Rockland County struggling to make ends meet and put food on their tables. Their various programs help provide groceries, gently used clothing and housewares, (7 comments)

There are always new trends in home design and the hot items on buyers and homeowners lists keep changing. With the weakened economy, buyers are starting to become more realistic about the costs of owning and maintaining a home and their needs and wants are changing to reflect the economic times. Where buyers once coveted the big McMansions and "bigger" was "better", buyers today are looking for more energy efficient homes and systems and ways to reduce their home maintenance costs. Battery Saturday - November 6, 2010 - Suffern NY Goes Green GO GREEN on Battery Saturday - The village of Suffern, NY is trying to do their part in GOING GREEN. They have set Saturday, November 6th, 2010 as BATTERY SATURDAY” – meant to encourage people to keep their toxic batteries out of the waste stream. This will be their 2nd annual event. Though the Town of Ramapo recycles batteries the drive to Pomona to the Rockland County Solid Waste Authority to dispose of them is often just not worth the trip for just a couple of smalll batteries. Horror-Thon at Lafayette Theatre in Suffern NY November 5-7, 2010 Though Halloween is over, you can still partake in another spooky weekend at Lafayette Theatre's Horror-Thon in Suffern NY. For those of you that love horror films, you'll love the horror-thon. The Horror-Thon is a three day event which features eight classic horror movies and one documentary film. The highlight of the weekend will take place on November 6th with a salute to Universal horror and the 75th anniversary showing of The Bride of Frankenstein.
