The Town of Ramapo in Rockland County NY, will once again be sponsoring their Thanksgiving Night Live TV Bingo.  The 10th annual Thanksgiving Bingo event will take place from 8:00PM - 10:30PM on Thursday, November 25, 2010.

This past week-end we were gifted with the most glorious balmy, springlike weather.  I was out and about with my camera and managed to get some photos of some beautiful bursts of color that the previous week's wind and rain hadn't effected.  Don't you wish it could last longer (except of coarse for all the fallen leaves left for us to rake)!

Yesterday our Office sponsored a Gold Party  - a fantastic fund raiser benefiting "People to People" of Rockalnd County! It's the only fundraiser I know of where you leave your wallet at home and walk out with money in your pocket and it 's a win-win for everyone involved. It's a fundraiser where everyone makes money.

GO GREEN on Battery Saturday - The village of Suffern, NY is trying to do their part in GOING GREEN. They have set Saturday, November 6th, 2010 as BATTERY SATURDAY” – meant to encourage people to keep their toxic batteries out of the waste stream.  This will be their 2nd annual event.

Though Halloween is over, you can still partake in another spooky weekend at Lafayette Theatre's Horror-Thon in Suffern NY.  For those of you that love horror films, you'll love the horror-thon.  The Horror-Thon is a three day event which features eight classic horror movies and one documentary film.
