Some banks dont make any sense.  Ok i need someone who might have been thru this. I got a townhouse short sale near foreclosure. got a buyer and bank approval. Freddie Mac is the investor. the buyers needed some time to secure their Mortgage so i requested an extension on the 27th of september. wells farge is servicing the loan. they said they would get back to me with an updated approval. on the 7th of october we were clear to close but couldnt bec we still didnt have an approval for the extension. i just found out thru a contact at wells fargo that we will have an answer by next week. im just finding out that the INVESTOR may deny our request for the extension. :( so its 50/50.

Has anyone else had this experience with freddie mac and what was your outcome. i appreciate the imput.
