Progress must happen in everything! So it is with the Gray Manor Community and business group. Our Fiscal year begins June 1 and with it comes a new name and new organization. Our new name is:
Gray Manor and Northshire Community Association
The name change also brings with it new growth as we have added the Northshire Community to the regular meetings.

OK so I learned a very valuable lesson today-at the point of a gun!
Previously being a Lieutenant at the Sheriffs Department in charge of a unit that specialized in reducing gang activity in the worst parts of the county, I am no stranger to the use of guns. But as a Realtor, this is one thing I really didn't anticipate dealing with.

Well it is that time of year again when thoughts of Spring turn to working in the garden and on the lawn. I thought everyone might be interested in seeing some great pics of Spring in Bloom in Dundalk Maryland.
OK, some of the pictures are from last year as well with the flowers in full bloom.
We had many problems trying to get pretty much anything to grow in the soil when we bought this house. Around here the soil is mostly clay with a high acid content, not very conducive to sustaining floral life.

This is one of my favorite as there are always alot of tables set up with a huge variety of items for purchase-and most of the time at a great price!

Well, well, well, How long have I been touting the opportunities available in Dundalk, 21222? Great for the first time home buyer, great for the investor and now, Bill Jones, County BRAC Coordinator, says that "Being right on I-95 would be an attraction, and the planned housing developments in the community could very well make it attractive to new residents" according to the Dundalk Eagle, July 12th issue. Well it has been another month and for me it has been the busiest month of the year. Lots of new homebuyers-especially first time homebuyers!
Since Dundalk is still one of the most affordable communities in Baltimore County and with interest rates inching up very slightly-finding a new home or that first home is a task of choice for many!
May started off with a bang and just kept going! For the 31 day period there were 67 homes sold or put under contract----this is up 34% over Aprils 50 sales!
