service: Can you Foresee the future for your client? - 03/25/07 12:14 PM
When I first looked at this from my email this morning-I was really impressed! I guess that shows my gullibility! Then I looked a little closer and easily figured out the trick that was played on my mind! Did you?! Once figured out-I thought this truly relates to our Real Estate Business......How you say? When I first looked at this trick, I was looking as a potential buyer or seller, or maybe a FSBO of a home-oh this is simple, no problem, I can breeze through this and be truly impressed when I am done! Good job! BUT as a Realtor, looking out for

service: An Auction House that cares about community - 03/04/07 10:42 AM
If you happened across my earlier Blog about the NEW CnS Trading Company and Mini-Mall in Essex, 21221 you already know how Big-Hearted and active Steve & Carol McBride are in the local community. What I didn't have a chance to talk about was the CnS Auction House within the building that is also very dedicated to raising money for local as well as World-wide Organizations. The Auction is each Monday at 5pm, with viewing starting at 3pm. You will find many individual items and box lots(old & new items), as well as larger items like tv's, electronics and furniture. Each weeks auction

service: Grand Opening in Essex, 21221-benefits community and world! - 03/04/07 10:07 AM
I have always been a very service oriented person, not just great client service but service to community. I have always felt that no matter what level of life you are at, there are others that need a helping hand. Today in Essex at 138 Back River Neck Rd, 21221. I found the Grand Opening of the new CnS Trading Company & Mini Mall. My first thought was what a great new flea market for the Essex Community, but as I delved deeper into this new market, I found much, much more. Steve McBride & his wife Carol, bought the fledging flea market

service: Real Estate Ripoff - 02/18/07 09:35 AM
Did anyone happen to catch the above named article in the Feb 2007 issue of readers digest? It is the "That's Outrageous" column by Michael Crowley on page 41. The first few paragraphs of the article talk of a woman who chose to sell her investment home FSBO. She offered a Buyers' Agent 2.5% and held a Brokers Open to show off her home to all the local Agents. Very few Agents came to the OH. She joked with one of the Agents that she must have been "blacklisted" She goes on to say that she was informed that a local "Real Estate Executive"

service: Service-Service-Service? Where is the service?? - 02/16/07 10:41 PM
My first post and I guess I get to vent and praise in the same one. I remember reading an article in the late 90's from a major business journal that discussed the future-or demise-of businesses in the upcoming century. I specifically remember that the article made very clear that businesses that were to thrive in the 21st century would HAVE TO address their standards and level of service. I thought at the time that the article was very timely, as I felt that when I was the customer or client that service was the last thing most companies were thinking of!
