Craig's List Miracle! Today I had a Craig's List Miracle! I usually use Craig's List for advertising my real estate listings, but this morning, I decided to use it to help sell my refrigerator as well. Within an hour, I received a hand full of emails inquiring about it. One in particular decided to call me and I called her back. It turns out that she is a new loan officer to the area, actually, she is a local to Humboldt County and I went to high school with her. For the period from February 29, 2008 to March 29, 2008, the residential real estate market for most of Humboldt County California, Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka and Fortuna continued steadily along with homes selling in all regions of the county. Below are statistics from the Humboldt County Board of Realtors showing a year to year comparison for this time period for 2007 and this year, 2008. From the table above, there were 680 residential active listings in the month of March 2008 and last year, there were 698 active listings in the entire county of Humboldt.
