Tax exemption is to be lowered on Maui. From the now available $300K to a lower $200K as the county struggles with this recession they are also going to combat the home owners who are off island and abuse the system by claiming to live in Hawaii full time. There will be a lot of upset Maui County home owners now!

My Hanai Grand Mother Florence Hasegawa has been on twitter for about 2 months now, she's 101 years old, still lives alone and cooks for her self. She's very capable of taking care of her self. I spend Sundays with her and take advantage of that time to ask her questions, ask for advise and just savor the knowledge that a person of this age will have to share with us all.

Fair warning Monday Wailuku Foreclosure report for the island of Maui Hawaii It was a quite afternoon at the court house there were five postponements and no foreclosure auctions I will post the photo of the house that were pushed back for a later auction date, sometime tonight. I don't have my camera wires with me.
Last week on Friday there was a good deal in Pukalani that made sense financially. This Monday three of the five postponements are for Pukalani and Makawao so I am interested in following them through to the end.
