I don't know about you guys in the Dallas-Fort Worth area but its picking up quite a bit! The drop in the interest rates are definitely helping too! Dallas-Fort Worth is the top 10 for UNDER-valued homes! Thats good news for Buyers!  Also since alot of people are scared to buy the Lease part of real estate has picked up alot too! So far this job has been difficult but very rewarding in the commissions and the clients excitement with a home purchase or lease.

I've only been a Real Estate agent since September of 2007 (5 Months) and it started out slow but its picking up and the pipeline is slowly building! Everyone says just hold on, It takes time! I would have to say one of the biggest reasons i'm still here is the Real Estate Company i work for Ready Real Estate . The Broker is very nice and cares alot about the agents and the value we give to our clients! A big reason why i have been able to stay in this career is i pay NO FEE'S it cost me nothing to be with this company! and we have 70/30 splits! The best part is they supply us with LEADS! They are good leads too! the harder he sees you working the more he gives you! If i would have joined with a "typical" company i would have stopped a long time ago! But i'm going strong!!

 If ANY AGENTS are wanting to stop there pursuit in this Real Estate career i would recommend you try Ready Real Estate! Its a wonderful opportunity and its very Rewarding! Its soo much easier building a pipeline with this company then a "Typical" Real Estate Broker.  PLUS YOU GET GOOD QUALIFIED LEADS!

    Getting started in real estate isn't as easy as I thought! I have a lot more respect for Agents! Especially the new ones trying to beat the odds. Building your business sounds alot easier said then done.

   I'm Luke and i live in Aubrey , TX i'm currently 24 and i've always had a passion for Real Estate! Buying my first home at 20, i knew that this is what i wanted to do!  Well here i am, I just quit a $45,000 a year job installing High-End Home audio/Video equipment. (which by the way i am still doing with a couple of buddies to keep some money coming in) Now i am in my second month getting kind of worried. I've been going out everyday putting my name everywhere i can. Not ALOT of people are looking for new 24 year old Agents to help them find or sell a home.  They want experienced and older real estate agents to help make this huge decision in there life!

   Despite of what i am hearing from local real estate agents and homeowners around, i'm not going to give up! I'll keep fighting until i get business.  I read in CNN MONEY.com - "Virginia Tech researchers estimate Dallas-Fort Worth area will add 6.4 million new people and 2.8 million new units of housing in the next 2 decades... Dallas is on track to post the best returns on housing of any major U.S. city during the next 2 years."  I started thinking about this stat... If i can get 20-30 transactions a year out of the 2.8 million NEW units (not even counting the pre-owned units) then i will be a successful agent. I just need to be patient and work hard!

   The biggest thing I've noticed in this industry is you need to have a niche. Something that separates you from all the rest.  Well, its not experience, its not being older.. It is what i offer to Clients that alot of agents don't. SAVINGS! Sometimes Thousands! Just as much work, but a better value for the consumer!!! That is my niche!

  When I was a Senior in High school, I was always interested in Real Estate! Everything from unique designs, having Ownership in something, putting money into something you can get back, to the process and laws! When I graduated I moved to the big City! Phoenix, Arizona. There I Lived on my own, free from parents. I rented an Apartment! I came to find out I did not like Sharing this building with 10 other people. I was GIVING my money to someone that was MAKING money off me.  Soon I advanced in my job and moved to TEXAS! Here I knew I needed to Own a House! so at the Young age of 20 I purchased my first home!

 It was a big step for me and I was very nervous! But after living in my Brand new home I found owning was a DREAM! I loved mowing, Painting, driving into a GARAGE, sitting down watching a movie as loud as I wanted. Its was GREAT.

When I was in high school I knew I wanted to do something in real estate, but after Purchasing my new house I knew I wanted to be a real estate agent and give people like me into homes that they would love for years! This is where I began the process of getting my license and becoming a Real Estate agent!

I am 25 Now , married to my wife Pam and I have a beautiful daughter named Whitney! and this is now my 5th year in my home! STILL LOVING IT!
