myrtle beach condos: Myrtle Beach Real Estate - Investors and Referring Agents - 11/29/10 03:10 PM
Agents across the country are looking for positive signs that the real estate markets are ready for their investors. Of course, nobody has a crystal ball that gives the ability to predict the future of real estate. All anybody can do is keep their eyes on the market and look for important trends that indicate the direction the markets will likely go. I think real estate agents have to look beyond their local market in order to best position their buyer or investor clients in opportunities where they may realize a huge upside while protecting their downside risk. As most

So, from the 14th Avenue Pier to Fourth Avenue North, the boardwalk will be open and ready for your enjoyment as of today. The Grand Opening ceremony for the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is set for Saturday, May 15, during the Beach Music Festival. myrtle beach condos: Mobile, Modular, and Manufactured Homes - 02/15/10 12:21 PM
Have you ever wondered or been asked by a buyer exactly what the difference is between a "modular" home and a "mobile" home? You may also hear the terms "manufactured home" or "pre-fab home". These terms seem to be catch-all phrases to encompass anything that is not a "stick-built" house, which is the builder's lingo for a home that is built from scratch on a piece of property, and not in a factory. So what exactly is the difference? After researching the different types of alternative-built homes, I've discovered the answer. And, my findings might surprise you! In my

myrtle beach condos: Is Your HOA Board Liberal or Conservative? - 11/03/09 07:03 PM
I had an epiphany tonight. Being an ardent Hillary Clinton fan, I had occasion with this past election to become more interested in politics than I ever have been. I have spent more time arguing with hard-core Republicans and conservatives than I like to think about. Arguing politics is probably one of the biggest wastes of time that exists. I don't think anyone will ever convert a person from one way of thinking to the other by discussing it. And yet we argue. I have tended to look at things through "party" eyes, and tonight I was given a

myrtle beach condos: Selling or Buying Myrtle Beach Real Estate - 08/05/08 07:00 PM
I received an email today from a customer through Active Rain about Myrtle Beach real estate, and was astounded at the question they asked. I won't include names, but below is the body of that email, and my response back to them. I cannot imagine any ethical real estate agent advising a customer to sell a resort property or any other kind of real estate right now. Even Donald Trump is yelling "buy, buy, buy". To: Me through Active Rain - Subject: Market Outlook We have received a doom and gloom outlook from a N. Myrtle Beach real estate company

myrtle beach condos: Myrtle Beach Homes for Residents - 07/10/08 02:35 AM
Our local paper reported some interesting figures from the US Census Bureau tonight. Seems that most of the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand area is reporting a sizeable increase in permanent residents. Although it cautioned that some of the figures are not quite accurate because of retirees buying ahead of time, it still sounded like good news for Myrtle Beach real estate sales, now and in the future. I'm rounding off the numbers in the interest of space and time... The census reported an increase of about 7200 permanent residents in Myrtle Beach from 2000 to 2007. From 22,759 to

myrtle beach condos: Myrtle Beach Resorts Are Offering Gas Discounts - 06/13/08 04:03 AM
In an effort to offset the higher gas prices and boost vacation sales for Myrtle Beach condos and resorts, several are taking advantage of "gas rebates". The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce sent out a newsletter today that mentions some nice discounts and rebates being offered by Ocean Creek Resort, Grande Dunes, and others. Like the old-time marketing of timeshares, this would be an ideal way for anyone interested in looking at Myrtle Beach real estate to take advantage of the discounts to visit for a few days and view some properties. Here are some of the vacation deals they

myrtle beach condos: 2008 Could Be the End of the Housing Slump? - 05/11/08 07:13 AM
Wall Street Journal columnist Cyril Moulle-Berteaux predicts the real estate slump will end in 2008, in his recent opinion column The Housing Crisis is Over. He makes a very good argument for his opinion, reminding us that the current housing bust is now nearly 3 years old! Hard to believe, isn't it? 2005 saw the peak of it all, when we were getting 50 leads a day and realtors were little more than order-takers. Here it is in mid 2008, and real estate agents everywhere have left their careers, many because they came on board when they didn't have to
