I attended the May 2010 LuxuryRealEstate.com conference at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach and enjoyed the company of power real estate brokers from countries including, Australia, Italy, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico and St. Barth's in the Caribbean. Main message delivered was that prices of luxury real estate have to be reset to sell. Luxury real estate sellers around the world are realizing that properties have to be priced and offered to reflect current markets. The buzz: There is no such thing as a bad real estate market, just bad real estate strategies.

As a real estate broker in South Florida, every day a potential buyer says, "I am looking for a deal." Brokers today must be able to go behind the multiple listing system and identify the opportunities for their potential buyers. A buyer today is not looking for information that is Internet ready, they are looking for a real estate consultant. There has never been a better time to acquire a luxury property than now, especially with the attractive interest rates.
