Well... not really just Las Vegas Short Sales but since today's Las Vegas Real Estate market is primarily dominated by Las Vegas Short Sales as we all anxiously await for lenders to approve our short sales and let home owners move on in life with a reflection of the real estate correction... let's just call it what it is.

Hmmm... I had to re-post this great blog post by Kris Wales in Macomb, MI since I just recently had a conversation concerning a bank owned listing agent and why they do what they do.

We are often asked "What the Listing Inventory" is for Las Vegas real estate and it's often cited in the local news such as the Las Vegas Review Journal.
I never have really liked basing a decision to buy Las Vegas real estate because of the amount of inventory available and that's because there are so many more factors that are more important in my opinion... like..um... does it make financial sense?

The latest seven day price reduction report is showing up as 2,971 Las Vegas homes reduced in price for the past seven days. Since I first started glancing at this back in January it's been consistently hovering right under the 2,000 range until I noticed the big number for today.
For Las Vegas real estate sellers, if you have not had a price check or status report for a couple of months, you probably should get one since there has been a consistent reduction in prices this year - especially for the bank owned homes.

So, I'm opening up my junk e-mail account to review and delete the 60+ spamming advertisements a day. It's a the e-mail account that my wife and I have listed with our Association and somehow for whatever reason this particular e-mail account has fallen into the hands of every e-mail spammer imaginable trying to sell you the next great thing in real estate. (So... when we get two e-mail spams for the same advertisement, it's very obvious where they got the e-mail list.)
We don't use this account anymore for everyday business but we do have to keep it active since it's a very old … (3 comments)
