After way too long in keeping up with your market, I find myself in an area I did not expect. The handle I was holding on to in our business snapped in two a while back. I kept telling clients to stay active and be positive. Things beyond most of our control has forced me to change the way I do business. The bank took over control of the two subdivisions I was involved in and the builder was foreclosed on, effectively stopping business as I knew it.

For years I have wondered why it is we as human beings would bow down to anything. After looking at diifferent things, one thig stays in the forefront of thought. Bowing down to anything is a form of respect and adoration to that thing.
Is it the television?
Is it the power of the $dollar$?
Is it food and drink?
Is it a god or idol?
Is it something that controls and consumes our entire being and life?
Is it being number 1?
Or maybe, hopefully, is it to the one and only God?

I don't know if this will work or not, but the only way to find out is to try it. This incredible video (that is supposed to be linked above) is of a man named Louie Giglio as he describes a chance meeting with a molecular biologist as it is given in a talk at the winding down of the Chris Tomlin "How Great is Our God" tour recently in Tyler, Texas.

I was wondering today whether there would be anyone interested in a group the decides everyday to go out and look for something or someone positive.
I really enjoy being around people who find the rainbow in the storm or the clean smell after a rain. How about the smile that lifts a heart in places where there are not a lot of smiles.
Or maybe we could have a group that shares different kinds of smiles or things that give us the chance to smile.

Recently one of the groups I like to participate with had it's name changed. Neal Bloom-Realtor ® Assoc.-CRS-Weston FL decided to change it after some things happening which did not really follow the guidelines in which it had been established. After changing the name of the group, Neal is being put down because he is taking a stand to keep our community holding to a finer standard.

I would like to share an article printed in Newsweek a couple weeks ago about two young men that will make an impact on the lives of many people. Peter Brewin and William Crawford are making news because they saw a need and acted on it. Having visite a refugee camp in Uganda opened their eyes to the fact that so many of the people in this world are not fortunate to own even a semblance of what we call a home.
