Brea, CA is a wonderful community with so many things to offer. A wonderful housing community,.. excellence in education,..a place to experience entertainment and the arts...a strong business enviroment and most of all a true since of community. Brea's downtown's promenade is in the "heart of the city" and so many of the happenings around town. The next scheduled event features the Pacific Symphony of Orange County performing in down town Brea. This exciting event will include a fifty-five piece orchestra and is sure to be one of the summer highlights in our community. La Habra's Depot Theater Presents ~ Honk - 07/29/07 11:33 AM
La Habra, CA 90631 La Habra's own local, live theater, The Depot Theater plays host to the production of "HONK", running now through August 19th, This production is a musical suited for the whole family. This unique theater is located in the former Pacific Electric Depot Building. Built in 1909 this facility was donated to the City of La Habra in the mid-70's and moved to the present location in Portola Park. The theater is now completely ran by dedicated volunteers and it's also listed on the Orange County Historical Register. This small intimate theater is a local venue to a wide variety of productions. This post was prompted by another a few days ago where Thesa Chambers(Sunriver, OR)wrote on Risk Management and the group of the same name. I've always enjoyed reading Thesa's posts and I joined the group myself. To elaborate a little more on the topic I wanted to share some thoughts I've had on the subject "under" represents clients. This is somewhat based on notes from a recent broker/manager meeting and one of many personal experiences on the subject. If you're a traditional full-service Realtor, how often are you involved in a transaction with an "under represented" consumer in the transaction? Paint Your Heart Out is a national non-profit organization of community volunteers lending a helping hand to senior citizens within across the country. Volunteers repair, refurbish and paint homes of low-income seniors 65+ and disabled homeowners in communities throughout the U.S. The Mission: Paint Your Heart Out, Inc. is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that helps low income, senior, or disabled homeowners maintain their dignity, safety and connections to the community. This outstanding organization with the help of community volunteers has helped homeowners over the years. In the past many of my Orange County friends have participated in this worthwhile event. Whether you like it or not your credit score can have an impact on your quality of life. Your overall credit score can open, or close doors on opportunity. For example, just look at the interest differential on a 30 year mortgage depending on scoring. Your FICO score could limit or expand your purchasing power. Earlier today I attend a credit scoring workshop at our AOR attended by Realtors and lenders. Our community of Brea is unique in many ways. We have a small town feeling, yet with bigger city benefits. Week-days we normally have over 100,000 people who work and live in our city. Yet the resident population is 39,000-40,000. We have a strong economic base within our business community, take a look at Brea-Means-Business as an example. Brea is also known for excellence in education. The Brea-Olinda School district is well know for outstanding schools. It's that time once again! Brea's FREE concerts at City Hall Park! Take a break mid-week to enjoy the fun and meet friends. Just bring the blankets, folding chair and the kids. Swimming is available in the Brea Plunge, Orange County's oldest community pool. Concerts are held Wednesdays beginning next week, July 11 through August 29.
