It's the Ninth Annual Cruisin' for a Cure in Orange County, CA. September 27, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00  p.m. is the big day for this event. Over 3,400 hotrods, muscle cars, customs, classics and trucks will be on display at the Orange County Fair and Event Center (just off the 55 freeway) in Costa Mesa.
Admission for the day is $12 ~ You can save $2 by showing your AAA card. Kids under the age of 12 are FREE. Live entertainment all day long.  
Proceeds from this great event will benefit prostrate cancer research at UCLA'S Jonsson Cancer Center. For more info … (7 comments)

orange county events: China's Terra Cotta Warriors in Orange County ~ 2,000 Year-Old Artifacts Showcased in So Cal! - 09/05/08 03:03 PM
China's Terra Cotta Warriors are on display in Orange County, CA. That's right, it's an amazing exhibit at  the spectacular Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA. The Bowers Museum in is only one of two or three museums in the U.S. to exhibit these amazing finds. It's hard to believe but these artifacts were buried for almost 2,000 years!  They were found by accident as recently as the 1974 by Chinese farmers who discovered  heads while digging a well. For me personally it was/is a once-in-a-lifetime experience seeing something like this. A truly spectacular experience.
