This seems to be a question that many Buyers are asking themselves these days as Short Sale seem to be everywhere. The idea to post on this today came from a conversation that I had today when I phoned a Buyer's Agent to follow up from a showing notification that I received from my showing service. I recall when Short Sales were really becoming an ever increasing part of the South Florida real estate market. Foreclosures month after month were increasing. I had made the decision that I wanted to help the distressed homeowner and put my focus on Short Sales and received advice from others in the industry to not concentrate on Short Sales - why not I had thought.

I've been noticing a lot of homes in Pre Foreclosure whose MLS listing makes no mention of this, no mention of it being a short sale, nothing. Why? Aren't these sellers motivated? Where is the sense of urgency? Or is this simply because the Agent doesn't know the home is in Pre Foreclosure? But they should know this. My first instinct is to get on the phone and call these homeowners and shake them to take notice of their situation but I know I can't do that. I'm here in Coral Springs Florida and it is quite frequent.
