This popular phrase was coined by Alka Seltzer for the relief of indigestion. Indigestion defined as, " Inability to digest or difficulty in digesting something, especially food"
When selling your home one could say that it is possible to suffer from Indigestion; that "...difficulty in digesting something..." That "something" can certainly be something that the Distressed Seller goes through.
