Looking for a home in the Schaumburg area? This is a great time to get your first home, move to a smaller home, or move to a larger home. Interest rates are stable and recently lowered despite all the media hype and is available to all with fairly decent credit. In fact, I do still have 100% financing if that is your requirement!

Highlights of the typical Illinois Home Buyer from 2006 are:
Median age of home buyers was 37 years old. Amoung first time buyers, the median age was 31. Median household income was $73,300 compared to $71,800 in the U.S. 57% of home buyers were married couples, 26% single females (yeah girls!), 8% singles males, and 9% were unmarried couples. There is a larger than normal amount of inventory thruout the Chicago Northwest Suburban Marketplace which includes the Bartlett area. Sellers are competing to make their homes standout and enhance their chances of an offer. Prices have sold between 4 to 5% of list price over the last 9 months.
