I'm Hooked, Addicted, and In Love! - 09/27/08 07:25 AM
I'm hooked.  Not hooked on drugs or hooked on phonics or any of those other kinds of "hooked."  I'm hooked on Twitter.
Did I resist when first approached to come over and play?  Why yes, yes I did.  What on earth is the point of it?  Why would I want to see what people are doing every minute of the day?  Can we say B-O-R-I-N-G boys and girls?  Why yes, yes we can!  But it isn't like that at all.  It is absolutely NOTHING like what I thought it would be - and that's because I didn't KNOW what to expect.

I Guess I'm Just A Twit - 09/18/08 10:01 AM
No. That can't be right. I'm definitely not a Twit. I must be a Twitter-er - is that the term? What the heck am I talking about, you ask? Well, Twitter, of course!
I've figured out how to follow other people's streams (Tweets?) and how to respond to specific people as opposed to making general comments but I have a few other questions that I hope someone can answer for me.
How do you find people? I've tried searching for some people I know who are on Twitter but can't find them by their name. Now what do I do?
How … (11 comments)

Wal-Mart Heading For The Hills - Sad But True! - 09/16/08 07:49 PM
No, it's not what you think!  Wal-Mart has not decided to move it's headquarters to New Mexico or Chile.  Something much, much worse has happened and, unfortunately, it has happened in my little suburb of Garfield Heights, Ohio.
Wal-Mart in the new shopping plaza on Transportation Boulevard shut its doors on Monday morning.  The unthinkable happened.  Without any warning to employees, who showed up to work yesterday as they did for every Monday morning for the past year since the plaza has been operational, only to be told that the store was closing.  Just like that, all of those employees were now out … (16 comments)

Torn - Is the Good Going to Outweigh the Bad? - 09/11/08 08:07 AM
I'm torn.
I'm the Little Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe.  I've got so many kids, I don't know what to do.  So, my husband and I discussed it and, as I mentioned in a previous post, we're hiring a Nanny.  At first, we thought we'd just go with a Mother's Helper but decided we might as well go all the way to Nanny-hood.
And like I said, I'm torn.
I feel this overwhelming guilt for hiring someone to come into my home and watch my kids, cook and clean, so I can work.  I feel like I should be able … (23 comments)

Are You Marketing On ApSense? - 09/08/08 12:21 PM
Hi everybody!
This weekend, while surfing the net for social networking sites to set up profiles on for a client, I came across a site called ApSense.  Have you heard of it?  Well, I hadn't before now but I'm really excited now that I've stumbled upon it!  The most exciting thing I saw was that it was virtually untapped by the real estate community - no VA's, just a handful of agents, no stagers, no financial lenders!!  Let me tell you a little about the site...
You set up a profile and put as much information in your "Business Center" as you'd like … (9 comments)

Why Do You Charge So Much? - 09/02/08 03:58 PM
OR I Can Get An On-site Assistant for $10 Per Hour! What The Heck?
I have propects contacting me on a weekly basis...at least 3-4 per week.  Most of these "prospects" aren't really prospects.  You know what I mean - they are just like real estate "looky-loos;" those people who aren't really serious about making a move, they're just looking to see what's out there.  Well, as a Virtual Assistant my "looky-loos" are pretty much the same thing - tire kickers.  They aren't really ready to utilize a VA, they're just "gathering information."
One of the biggest stall factors I've found … (7 comments)
